Ok, the shit’s been hitting the fan for so long, inspiring “cartoonery,” (wait is that even a word?) on my part so often, that I’ve gotten into the habit of simply posting images on Instagram rather than posting on this illustroblog. So, this post is a collection of images that reflects my take on the last few days of this colossal assault on our country by the barely elected clown and all those who look the other way for one reason or another.

While I’m at it, here’s one from early January that was rejected by the New Yorker, my first and only attempt so far. Incidentally, I can understand why it wasn’t accepted; I’ve done better. Still, I have an account, and I’ll give it a try again soon. At any rate, here’s what I had submitted; it accentuates how Trump is caught in the past and incapable of facing the reality that lies before the rest of us, and not just the 30 some percent of the eligible voters who he calls his base, whose view of reality is irreversibly subverted.
