Sheep was accepted for inclusion in Interpretations of an American Dream, a juried art exhibition at The Dairy Barn Arts Center in Athens, OH. The show explores the meaning of dreaming in America today. The exhibition runs from October 3 to December 7, 2025, in the Sauber Gallery.

Digital Renderings: This 4 minute 37 second video consists of series of digital images, animations, and time-lapse videos that I have created on an iPad while living in Merced, CA from 2014 to 2022. Displayed in this video is a collection of digital-art expressions whose meaning requires motion for its significance to emerge. These expressions include: Miss the Basket; Hannah Arendt; Turquoise; Love Letter; Owl’s Wide Open; Jorma; Paint Swatches; Strategic Vision; Outhouse Bird; Abelike; Heavy Heart; Birdie Wine; Barber Pole; Pucker Danny; Old Man Face; Sí, se puede; Beginnings; Gyro; Lead Guitar; Bald Mitt; Bernie; Sphere Spade; Sniff Sniff; The Pundant; Whirling Skeleton; Hydrospurt; and Selfie.

The Princess No. 2 School Pencil by Eberhard Faber has enchanted me for several decades; and, and I’ve tried to express this enchantment over time in traditional and digital ways. I love the shape, colors, and feel of this simple and elegant artifact, which has been instrumental in the expression of so many ideas, simple and complex. I’m moved by the unmistakable ways in which pencils sacrifice themselves physically in fulfillment of their instrumental, expressive mission; their erasers are often the first to go! Pencilitis and Milonga No. 2, both rendered freehand on an iPad, highlight in different ways the ordinary and extraordinary nature of this useful artifact.
