Why unbelievable? Because this is the second year in a row one of my pieces was selected into the mDAC Top 100! Click here to see last year’s selection announcement.
I posted lumpensammler on this illustroblog back on May 8, 2016…click here to see that post and the short story behind it. A few weeks later I submitted it, along with 4 other pieces; lumpensammler was selected!!!!!!!

You know it! Just back Friday from three weeks in Egypt. Now in San Diego since Monday. Will be glad to get home for a few weeks. Next trip to England, mid-October; then Macau in November and Singapore in the winter. YEOW!!!

Thank you, Janette. I forget who posted that Forest Whitaker meme, but I know it was one of our colleagues describing a common attitude regarding digital painting. Funny thing though, I’ve come to realize that Forest Whitaker eye memes are not all that uncommon; I saw one that said, ‘when you mix NyQuil and DayQuil, you get Forest Whitaker eyes.’ Thank you very much, Janette.
