Richard’s 63 Chevy

There it was. Right in the Save Mart parking lot in broad daylight.

Ms. Davis Goes To Washington, Again

Ms Davis

So I get my express replacement iPad Pro from Apple this evening via Fedex. Hooray! And what’s the first thing I practice on? A caricature of sorts of a famous, but somewhat rebellious public servant who, as it turned out, attended the State of the Union Address.

Old Man Face 2.0

Why that title? Why the 2.0? Yesterday I was in the mood to practice facial features, particularly wrinkles. I needed some inspiration. I needed even more practice. So I looked up “old face” and “wrinkles” and bumped into an interesting photo, which happened to be tied to a 12/25/11 post at this cool blog, Source of Inspiration. I got my inspiration and practice.
Technical: Since my iPad Pro is being swapped out with a new one because of a small display issue, I used my old iPad, Procreate, and a sty-HD stylus. Incidentally, I ordered an Apple Pencil that’s due to arrive in early February. Give me time. Here’s yesterday’s practice image followed by an accelerated progress video:

It was right up there. When Cowboy and I looked up, the bird looked away.
